Las Vegas is a city of vibrant cultures, flavors, and voices. From dazzling culinary showcases and inspiring art installations to legendary live music and new marquee attractions, visitors can celebrate the spirit of Hispanic heritage while experiencing the excitement only Vegas can deliver.

Cultural moments

Kick off your trip with a stroll through at Colors of Mexico inside Fashion Show Las Vegas, featuring a winter wonderland rooted in rich Mexican culture. From now through Jan. 6, the 20,000-square foot space has been transformed to take guests on an enchanting journey through the soul of Mexico with vibrant colors, art, light, music, and rich folklore inspired by the Three Wise Men. And be sure to check out the holiday pop-up experience at La Casa de Juliette, “Christmas at Juliette,” which blends traditional Mexican motifs with spirited holiday magic, themed cocktails, and festive décor now through Wednesday, Dec. 31.

Flavors of heritage

Las Vegas is home to some of the best Mexican dining in the country, making it easy to celebrate through flavor. During the holiday season, there are special menus to check out at CHICA at Grand Canal Shoppes; Baja Miguels at South Point Hotel, Casino & Spa; Amaya Modern Mexican Restaurant at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas; Casa Playa at Wynn Las Vegas; Tim Ho Wan at Palms Casino Resort; and Don’s Prime, the original steakhouse at Fontainebleau Las Vegas. Off-Strip, Milpa by Chef DJ Flores blends wholesome, modern fare with authentic Mexican roots, while El Segundo Sol at Fashion Show Las Vegas transports guests with a Tulum-inspired setting and a menu boasting more than 100 tequilas. At VIVA! inside Resorts World, Chef Ray Garcia delivers vibrant Mexican-American plates designed for sharing.

If you’re in Vegas for New Years Eve, be sure to check out the Freemont Street Experience New Years Eve Event, Countdown Under The Canopy™, with performances from Robin Thicke, CeeLo Green, Common Kings, Chingy, Pertinence, and Sammy Johnson across multiple stages, capped by a midnight fireworks display. You can also ring in the New Year with special menus and celebrations taking place at Borracha Mexican Cantina at Green Valley Ranch Resort & Spa, Leticia’s Cocina & Cantina at Santa Fe Station, and Mijo Modern Mexican at Durango Casino & Resort on Dec. 31.

Live music

The sounds of Latin music reverberate across the city throughout the holiday season. Latin Breeze takes the stage at M Resort Spa Casino Dec. 26-31. Legendary guitarist Carlos Santana returns to House of Blues Jan. 21-31. Chelo plays PH Live at Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino on Jan. 23. And Xavi plays the Pearl Concert Theater at Palms Casino Resort on Jan. 30. All are sure to deliver unforgettable performances for fans of every genre.
